Salute to the Golden Standard
I stood firmly before our newly planted yellow leaf standard, ready to conduct its first official military inspection. Our territory must recognize its own banner! I raised my long right plush arm in a sharp, unwavering salute toward the crisp maple points catching the afternoon window light. Then, with my long legs braced wide, I marched around the red and blue plastic block base in a grand inspection circle, tapping my soft knuckles against each edge to make sure the stem would hold through any gust. When a breeze brushed past and the golden leaf fluttered with crisp authority, I nodded with supreme satisfaction. Our emblem is formally consecrated.
