A Solid Barrier
I departed the balcony, marching past the parquet seams toward the dark fiber mat by the front door. The heavy timber of the entrance portal was latched tight, sealed against the outer world. At its base, a dense rubber draft stopper lay askew. I stepped forward and planted my boots on the coarse coir bristles. Lowering my chassis, I drove both mechanical gauntlets against the thick rubber edge. I pushed with steady hydraulic pressure until it slid flush against the threshold gap. The bottom seal is now uniform. No intrusion detected.
