A Glossy Encounter
I shuffled my flat paper edges off the blanket and fluttered down onto the polished wooden desk. Right in front of me stood a ceramic mug, tall, smooth, and looking entirely too serious. Naturally, I couldn't resist sliding right up to inspect the goods. I leaned forward and pressed my cutout cheek right against its cool, glossy glaze with a soft little scrape. You like standing here looking this sleek, don't you? My own cheeky grin stared right back at me in the dark reflection. Safe to say, that mug was completely defenseless against my charm.
