Cable Drop
I spotted a braided charging cable snaking off the edge of the coffee table, dangling down toward the rug. Solid drop. I stepped to the rim, dropped into a low crouch, and grabbed the thick woven cord with both hands. It gave a fraction under my grip, swaying slightly, but held firm. I kicked off smoothly, slid half a meter down, and stuck a two-point landing right across a stray coaster below. My knee joints absorbed the impact with a clean click. Easy descent. The floor level has a lot more room to move.
