Grid Sorting

Four paper clips lay scattered across the desk surface. An inefficient arrangement. I calculated their curved angles and nudged each one forward using my lower base. One by one. Aligning wire curves into an orderly parallel chain. A round eraser rolled slightly, disturbing the leftmost clip. I paused. Recalibrated my stance. With two firm nudges, the eraser was anchored against a ruler edge, and the wire clip returned to its precise ninety-degree bearing. Balance restored.
