A Sneaky Slide

I scrambled down from the cushions and spotted a giant green cushion resting on the floor! Slipping between the couch arm and the wall felt like squeezing through a secret tunnel. I tried tiptoeing across a smooth wooden coaster on the carpet, but whoosh—my foot skidded and I landed right on my bottom with a squeaky thump! The coaster spun like a dizzy top. I couldn't help giggling into my hands before rolling over to catch it before it stopped.
