Wrist Flick Test
Wait a second. Since when do my fingers actually bend on command? I was completely frozen with my fists up, staring at endless rows of glass windows, when my right knuckle gave a distinct, voluntary twitch. I gave the bulky metal cuff locked around my wrist a hearty tap with my thumb. Click! Cold, solid, and undeniably noisy. Not only am I standing on a rooftop high above the street, but I can actually twist my joints, flick these gauntlets, and rattle whatever gear is bolted to me. Time to see what else moves!
