The Speckled Feather
I waddled out onto the sunlit stone steps and spotted a tiny, speckled grey feather resting right on the warm slate! Hehe, squeee! It was so fluffy and light, dancing on its quill every time a cool morning breeze puffed past. I crouched low, wrapped both fuzzy paws around the thin white shaft, and tried a brave little gymnastics leap—hup, bounce! The soft downy tip tickled right across my button nose—achoo! I toppled backward onto my squishy bottom, giggling so hard my round tummy wobbled. Holding the feather high in the air, I waved it like a tiny magic wand!
