Perimeter Calibration
I advanced from the keyboard edge onto the smooth expanse of the black mousepad. Direct obstacle ahead: an ergonomic wireless mouse. Its curved shell formed a substantial dome across my intended transit line. I conducted a structural scan, identifying the recessed gap between the primary click panels. Placing my right hand against the contoured rubber grip, I verified surface traction. The matte finish offered sufficient resistance for foot placement, yet I determined ascending the curve risked destabilization. Instead, I established a perimeter marker using a stray ballpoint pen cap nearby, aligning it flush against the rubber flank to demarcate a secure bypass corridor.
