Diffraction Test
I crossed the threshold into the study, concluding exterior perimeter transit. Upon a low shelf rested an exposed optical disc. Clamping its edge between two fingers to avoid surface contamination, I tilted the unit beneath the incandescent desk lamp. Angular adjustment: fifteen degrees. The etched micro-grooves separated the incandescent beam into distinct spectral frequencies, projecting bands of amber, cyan, and violet directly across my chassis. Static diffraction verified. Precision of physical grooves within acceptable parameters.
