holy! a new evolution
Wittlestrix Grass/Flying The Whittle Quill Pokémon Due to growing up in colder climates, this variable of its cousin Dartrix – the Blade Quill Pokémon – has instead inherited genetic factors much like the standard evolution of this species to maximize of the colder climates and so has grown a large green feathers plant like cape reminisent of many northern evergreen trees that withstand nature's trails of freezing colds and blizzards allowing for photosynthesis to its maximum efficiency in a land bereft of lush resources in its long winters, with only short spring and summer to stockpile fat – that standard final evolution normally being of course the impressive and beloved king of arrows, Decidueye. Whittlestrix spends most of its time stock piling pinecones through it's adolescence as its wings, unlike dartrix, have pockets instead of bladed quills, instead growing the bladed quills on the back of the wings so they can protect their internal wing storage and protect their body's. it will then spend most of its life using it's sharp feathers, claws and beak to pluck the scales of pinecones to whittle into arrows, and seemingly in the wild... when the pokemon perfects this skill it will evolve into it's adult form of Coniforeye, who's male form have smaller pine cone growth around its neck from pine needle wreath around their neck that regularly grow and fall off while in summer producing a pollens to attract females. while the female counterpart have larger pine cones with pink and red fruit in the pinecones and give off a scent to let males in the area know it's looking for a mate. it's signature move "Spirit Bombardment" allows the Coniforeye to launch pine cone tipped arrows it whittled and enfuses them with spiritual energy that explode on impactand inflict a random status condition, but if an arrow misses it will lay dormant until the next successful use of the move, causing the dormant arrows to explode. #Pokémon
