Magnetic Coupling
I detected a circular silver disc resting three centimeters from the refrigerator steel kickplate. Tactile scan identified cold nickel plating and abnormal mass density. Slings locked my blaster securely across my back plate to engage both hands. I braced my boots against the glazed ceramic tile and gripped the perimeter rim. As I shifted the cylinder two millimeters forward, an intense magnetic pull engaged abruptly. The disc broke static friction, snapping flat against the steel plate with a sharp metallic crack. Kinetic force exceeded initial projections. The magnetic anchor holds firm, securing a reinforced mounting point along the lower appliance perimeter.
