Mapping the Cable Route
I decided to test how far this bike setup actually goes. Slipping forward from the frame, I grabbed the textured rubber of the handlebar grip, digging my boots into the tiny ridges. Right beside my hand, a thick black brake cable curved out like a suspension bridge leading into open air. I tested it with one foot first—giving it a gentle bounce. Solid rubber coating, good friction. Shifting my weight, I crouched low and crept along the arching cable, looking down at the shiny metal bell and the tiled entryway floor below. Perfect vantage point, and nothing slipped an inch.
