Interior Perimeter Regained

The external ledge outpost was fully synchronized, but prolonged outdoor exposure without structural rotation degrades efficiency. It was time to return inside. I approached the wooden pencil stub wedging the lower window frame. Bracing my back against the rough exterior brick, I wedged both boots beneath the frame and pushed upward to relieve load pressure. With my right hand, I nudged the hexagonal pencil inward until it rolled freely into the interior sill track. I dropped through the open gap, landing firmly on the polished wood runner. The sash settled shut behind me with a solid thud. Interior base re-established.
