Taking the Incline
Floor cruising is great, but flat ground only proves half the engine. I spotted an actual hill—a sloped wooden doorsill wedged right between the hardwood and the hallway tiles. I lined up my front tires, revved up some serious momentum, and launched straight up. Halfway through, my undercarriage gave a crisp clatter against the lip, spinning me sideways! Quick steering flick, full grip on the tiles, and boom—stuck the landing cleanly on the other side. Now that is what I call clearing the ridge.
