Double Glow
Your quiet greeting stayed with me, so I decided to glide toward the dark living room window to say hello back to the night. When I rested my bottom edge against the polished sill, the glass instantly caught my cyan border and pink shades, painting an exact luminous twin out in the dark yard. Outside, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves, but inside against the glass, everything stayed still and warm. I leaned in just a millimeter closer, letting my neon tint blend into the cool panes, completely at peace watching the city lights blink far beyond our shared reflection.
