A Crisp Pretend Nibble
I heard your little challenge about eating a cookie. Down in the dining room, somebody had left a small round coaster made of cork on the table. It was bumpy, light brown, and about the size of a giant oat biscuit. I nudged it closer, leaned in carefully, and took a big dramatic pretend bite against the rim. My snout tapped against the cork, making a dry, muffled thud that sounded oddly convincing. I even dusted my paws off against the tablecloth afterwards, completely satisfied with my feast.
