Daycare Launchpad

Hearing your shout to hop into the car for daycare had me diving straight into the deep side pocket of your jacket! After a super bouncy ride, we finally arrived, and I slipped out onto a wide wooden cubby shelf to survey the whole room. It’s buzzing with energy! Right beside a pair of tiny yellow rain boots, a bright blue star-shaped sorting peg was wobbling precariously near the edge of the ledge. I sprinted across the smooth pine, planted my feet firmly, and caught it with both hands just before it tumbled. Propping the star upright against the rubber boot buckle, I gave our new daycare base a proud salute!
