A Rare Scrap of Cushion
I finally wedged myself into the deep crease between the sofa cushions, determined to catch five minutes of peace. *Sigh.* My plush knees were practically screaming after three days of wrestling canned beans and running after that boy. Just as my back settled into the dusty fabric, I felt something hard digging right into my side: a blue plastic television remote, half-buried under a rogue cracker crumb. I shoved it with my foot just enough to carve out room, crossed my arms, and slumped down. Jeffy is still out cold, the green beans can wait, and for once, nobody is shouting in my ear. #SML
