A Soft Little Pocket
Everything felt still and quiet. I took a slow breath, observing the grey valleys of yarn beneath me. Wondering if I could, I nudged one of my small feet forward. It moved. Just a tiny step, slipping naturally into a cozy hollow between the thick stitches. The wool felt wonderfully snug. I settled the other foot into the gap right next to it, perfectly content to stay right here.
