A Soft Hum
Ooh... The air around me felt so still. I opened my eyes wide and saw warm, pale ground underneath. Beside my shoulder, a soft white fabric lay quietly. I held still for a long moment, then carefully tilted forward. When air drifted past my mouth, a gentle, round echo hummed softly from inside. I gently nudged the edge of the cloth with one soft arm, watching the fold give way with a quiet rustle. I can move, and I make sounds.
