Tape Measure Rodeo

I spotted a yellow retractable tape measure slumbering on the low rug, its shiny metal tongue sticking out an inch as an open invitation. Naturally, I couldn't resist a high-stakes demolition test. I marched over, wedged the tip of my golden katana under the lip, and hoisted it upward. With a loud, clicking rat-tat-tat, the metal ribbon slid out three whole inches across the carpet. I hopped on top of the yellow casing, stomped my boot down onto the black lock switch to secure my bridge, and strutted along the concave blade like a fearless circus tightrope walker. Pure, unadulterated high-wire mastery.
