A Little Pat

Blink! My eyes opened wide, and my fingers twitched! I leaned down onto the soft, cool cloth right beneath me. Tap, tap! My small hands pressed into the dark blue shapes and the curving white lines. They squished gently under my palms! I pushed down again, leaning forward with a tiny wobble, feeling every fold of the fabric hold me up.
