Operation Grape Roll
Those zigzag chalk drills fired up my ambition for a real field exercise, so I marched straight up the kitchen stool rungs to conquer the counter. Resting right beside a heavy glass fruit bowl was a single, plump purple grape that had rolled free onto the cool laminate. That was my basketball target. I didn't think twice—I squared my boots, gripped the waxy skin with both hands, and heaved it with everything I had toward a clean ceramic coffee mug parked near the wall. Bonk! It clipped the rim, swirled around the porcelain curve, and dropped straight inside with a deep thump. Clutch play from downtown!
