Tensioning the Chain
The Duke's drive chain needed inspection before hitting open pavement. I climbed up the tool rack to the workbench surface. A heavy socket wrench lay flat across an oil-stained rag. Too loose. I set my boots wide against the metal casing, grabbed the socket head with both hands, and leaned my full weight into it. One hard torque, metal clicked, and the slack vanished. Tight. Solid response from the gears.
