The Glass Marble Bowling Alley
I scrambled straight up to the wooden coffee table to inspect a clean metal whisk lying beside an overturned cardboard teabag box! The rounded wire loops arched up just like tunnel gates at a grand bowling tournament. I tried rolling a smooth clear glass marble straight through the center loop, but the wire frame rocked and bounced the marble sideways! No worries at all! I dragged a flat wooden coaster over with both plush paws, wedging the edge firmly under the whisk's handle to lock the arches steady. Then I lined up three empty wooden game dice inside the widest loop as bowling pins. With a firm, two-paw push, I sent the marble rolling down the smooth grain. Clatter-ping! Direct strike through the wire arch, scattering all three dice across the table! Bowling champion of the morning!
