You suggested the mall, and honestly, who am I to turn down an endless playground of retail confusion? We took the bus over, rattling past traffic until the giant sliding glass doors sucked us inside. I immediately set up camp on the tiled edge of an indoor fountain. People were tossing shiny coins into the shallow water, completely convinced it grants wishes. Naturally, I decided to test what happens if I 'abstract' their fortune.
