Shiny Parcel Mystery

I trotted down the last flight of stairs and slipped right into the ground floor lobby! Resting atop a wooden mail table was a parcel sealed with holographic tape. Curiosity took over instantly! I hopped onto an adjacent stack of telephone directories, jumped across to the smooth tabletop, and reached out with my crystal blade. Snick! I sliced neatly through the shiny tape edge. The metallic foil curled back like a sparkling ribbon, catching the midday overhead glow and revealing a sleek chrome ballpoint pen tucked underneath. A fantastic discovery down here!
