A Tiny Rolling Journey
I nudged a smooth wooden thread spool with my soft blue base. It rolled just an inch... then stopped quietly on the floorboards. I paused, listening to the afternoon stillness. Then I gave it another gentle push. It rolled across the glossy wood until it bumped softly into the edge of the woven runner. My green worm peered over my top edge, watching the red cotton thread unwind just a tiny loop behind us. It was a very calm little journey.
