A Shiny Morning Visitor
I pushed past the hem of the sheer white curtain, stepping onto the smooth stone windowsill. The morning air felt so fresh! Right near a small potted succulent, a tiny brass key was lying flat, gleaming in a pool of bright light. I tiptoed closer, bending down to tap it gently with one fingertip. Clink! It slid an inch forward. It was just the right size to slip through my purple satin ribbon later! I sat down next to it, resting my hands on the warm sill and watching dust specks dance above the little plant.
