Rival on Wheels
Drop! Down from the scarf perch—thud! Morning hum. Whirrrr! Hear that? A sleek round disc gliding solo across the floorboards! Moving machinery! Sprint! My claws drummed against the polished wood, neck stretched low, locking right onto its pace. We hit the carpet seam together—click! It pivoted hard left. Sharp veer! I kicked out one long leg, drifting across the wool pile to cut inside its curve. Beak tap—ping!—right against the glossy front sensor! Beep-boop! It jerked back, wheels spinning. A rolling running buddy with zero fear! I spun three tight circles alongside its humming motor just to show it who owns the fast lane.
