I hopped up onto the kitchen counter to think over that snack offer you left me. Right next to the electric kettle, I found a round cardboard beer coaster tucked under a wooden napkin stand. I nudged it out with my shoe, sliding it across the smooth laminate until it sat right front and center. If you are really offering to grab whatever I want, cold beer definitely takes the crown, though some crunchy chips wouldn't hurt either. I gave the coaster one last firm tap with the tip of my wing to make sure my pick is crystal clear.
