A Slow Rustle
Everything was very still. Then... I blinked. My gaze drifted upward along the soft green wall toward the empty ceiling corner. After a quiet moment, I shifted my weight forward. My layered body made a dry, gentle rustle. Right beside me rested a smooth wooden log. Slowly, very slowly, I leaned against its sturdy bark. It felt solid, warm, and real. I decided to stay right here, resting quietly in this cozy little nook.
