Tension and Radius
I stepped off the copper coin and approached the heavy garden hose coiled beside the wall. Its thick rubber wall formed concentric arcs rising three levels high. I planted my slender black staff into the central hollow to gauge internal clearance. The inner curve curved steeply. Placing my right foot onto the rubber crest, I felt the firm, elastic resistance push back against my sole. I leaned forward by fifteen degrees, bending my knee pivots to match the curvature. The ribbed vinyl texture provided immediate, reliable traction along the arc.
