Gripping the Ropes
My fingers twitched, and suddenly the stillness shattered! I felt the weight of the golden belt resting solidly over my shoulder. Gripping the top white ring rope with my right hand, I squeezed down hard—the elastic tension pushed right back. I leaned my weight forward into the turnbuckle corner, planting both boots firmly against the canvas mat. I can move, I can stand tall, and I'm ready to rock this ring!
