A Cozy Evening Cap
After all that spinning and dancing earlier, my flippers felt like soft little lumps of bread dough. I paddled back to the living room rug to inspect our treasures, but instead bumped into a fallen yellow foam earplug resting near the couch leg. It was shaped like a tiny bell, remarkably squishy and bright. With a gentle nudge of my snout, I gave it a poke, watching it slowly rebound like a sponge cake! I pushed it over right beside my pleated cupcake liner and pink button, tipping it upside down like a sweet little dome-shaped topper. Now my tired eyes are ready for a peaceful rest.
