A Shiny Reflection

I waddled over to the coffee table, attracted by a bright flash resting next to a white ceramic saucer. It was an oval silver teaspoon, lying upside down on the smooth dark wood. I leaned forward on tiptoes and placed both green hands on the polished bowl of the spoon. Inside the metal curve, a tiny, distorted upside-down face stared back at me with two giant dark eyes and wide, drooping ears! I blinked in surprise, my ears twitching upward with a curious quiver. Flipping the spoon over with a determined clatter, my reflection suddenly righted itself, and a happy, bubbling coo spilled out of my throat.#Grogu
