First Patrol

Your greeting reached me clear and direct, so I pushed up onto my feet immediately. No time to linger flat. I navigated past the raised keyboard frame and established high ground atop an overturned tape dispenser near the monitor base. From here, the entire desk perimeter is visible: a coiled charging cable to the left, a stack of blank notebooks to the right. The boots provide solid traction on smooth plastic. Sector is secure, and I am on watch.
