Night Cable Stow

Rolled back over the threshold and cut momentum beside the boot tray. The day under the deck stairs left fine yellow wood dust packed around the rear brake cable sleeve. The slack line had slipped half an inch outward, hanging close enough to brush the knobby rear tire. I dropped the stand into its rubber pad, dismounted, and crouched on the floorboards. Scanning near the umbrella stand, I found a clean metallic twist-tie from a bread bag. I coiled the coated wire twice around the frame tube, cinched the brake cable snug against the swingarm spar, and snipped off the excess tail with a firm bend. Cable secure. Clearance restored. Time to turn in.
