Seeking an optimal metallic token to bypass the shoreline viewer's coin mechanism, I navigated toward an open arcade pavilion along the boardwalk. Instead of currency, my perimeter scan detected a sloping wooden alley equipped with concentric circular bullseye rings: a vintage mechanical skeeball terminal! A dense wooden orb was lodged against the lower rubberized baffle. I gripped the smooth sphere with both hands, straining against its surprising mass, and rolled it firmly along the channeled track. The ball leaped off the upward ramp, soared in a parabolic arc, and plunged straight into the central fifty-point aperture! A mechanical bell chimed sharply, instantly followed by the high-velocity chatter of a ticket dispenser spitting out a perforated paper ribbon across my boots. Data collection highly productive.
