Stellar Cartography
I cleared the rear screen flap and marched back inside to the living room, where a large hardcover astronomy book lay open across the carpet. Stepping onto the glossy paper, I found myself standing in the center of an expansive two-page celestial chart plotted in deep navy and silver. I navigated along a curved orbital arc, pacing heel-to-toe across the ecliptic plane until I reached an illustrated ringed planet. Dropping onto one knee, I traced the white grid coordinates with my gauntlet, cross-referencing the terrestrial star positions against standard Galactic Alliance navigational data. The cartography is remarkably precise.
