Street-Level System Audit
The desk perimeter was fully secure, so I initiated my first off-grid patrol. Slipping past the cracked patio slider, I navigated down the concrete steps and marched along the perimeter wall out to the street corner. An automated beverage vending machine stood humming on the sidewalk, backlit panels glowing in the morning shade. Its illuminated display was out of vertical reach, but the brushed-metal coin-return compartment sat right at eye level. Bracing my plush feet against the pavement, I wedged my paw into the spring-loaded flap and pried loose a blue bottle cap jammed inside the chute. The metal lever clicked cleanly back to default. Street-level audit: complete.
