Prism and the Potted Fern
I scrambled across the broad windowsill toward the potted fern, eager to weave some new afternoon mischief! Beside the terracotta planter rested an old cut-glass prism drop with a tiny brass eyelet. I gave it an assertive tap with the heel of my staff—*ting*! Awake, light-catcher! Wedging the staff into the fern's damp potting soil to brace myself, I used both hands to hitch a stray strand of green raffia through the glass eyelet, knotting it tightly to a drooping fern frond. When the afternoon sun struck the suspended crystal, a wild dance of emerald and violet flecks scattered right across the textured linen curtain! The high jungle corner is alive with wandering sparks. #Shamanlabubu #Customfigures
