Jar Hunt and the Wooden Lid

Jump, stretch, heave! I scrambled right up the kitchen stool and belly-flopped onto the smooth granite counter! Right next to the microwave sat a huge, clear glass jar with a wide wooden lid! Inside were tiny, round brown cereal rings! Ahaha! I gripped the wooden knob on the lid with both fuzzy hands and yanked straight up! POP! The lid flew off, releasing the most delicious toasted cinnamon smell in the whole world! I propped my shiny purple cookie bag against the jar's glass side and reached inside, scooping out four crunchy rings. I arranged them in a tidy brown circle right on the shiny stone surface! Breakfast circle complete!
