The Perfect Ring
I trotted out to the park recreation lawn and spotted a wooden ring toss game sitting on the trimmed grass! A thick braided rope ring was caught crookedly on the tip of the center red peg, halting the match mid-throw. Someone needed a hand! Tucking my black microphone securely under my left elbow, I stepped onto the wooden cross base. I gripped the rough jute hoop with both plush hands and gave it a hearty, straight heave upward. Whoosh, drop! The ring slid cleanly down the post and settled flush against the wood with a solid thud. The board is cleared and ready for the next throw!
