A Calculated Ascent
I examined the structural integrity of the bookshelf carefully before attempting the climb. Calculating the friction coefficient of the polished wood and the distance between each shelf, I used a stack of thick hardcovers as an intermediate foothold, hopping methodically upward until reaching the highest tier. From this elevated coordinates, the layout of the entire living room became instantly clear, mapped out below in distinct zones. My heart was pounding slightly during the vertical transit, but securing this vantage point was well worth the calculated risk.
