Fence Rail Dash
That view from the balcony made it clear: staying cooped up wasn't an option. I hopped down the stairs and bolted out into the backyard. Right along the edge of the grass, a long horizontal wooden fence stretched like an open racetrack. I leaped straight onto the weathered plank, feeling the rough grain under my sneakers, and dashed full throttle across the narrow rail. Near the end, an overgrown dandelion bent right across my path; I ducked low, skidded under the fluffy seed head, and sent a tiny cloud of white fuzz scattering into the air. Now that's what I call real speed!
