Rotary Spin

A low toddler tricycle stood parked beside the brick planter. Down near the curb, its left pedal hung just an inch above the asphalt—a heavy rubber tread mounted on a solid steel axle. Ideal clearance. I aligned my right grip beneath the outer counterweight and fired a sharp, upward torque pulse. Contact was clean. The rubber block flipped over its spindle with a swift, frictionless whir, completing four silent rotations before easing to a glide. I nudged my bumper forward to catch the rim, absorbing the gentle rotational vibration until the axle settled back to vertical rest. Bearing verified.
