A Garden Bell
Stepping out from the house, I strolled down the quiet lane to the botanical conservatory, where the glasshouse was humming with midday warmth. Upon a cedar potting bench, an inverted miniature terracotta pot lay resting over a tiny brass bell tucked beneath its drainage hole. Pausing with cautious curiosity, I stepped close to inspect the rough clay rim. Reaching out with both hands, I carefully tilted the flowerpot back to free the little clapper. A soft, clear chime rang out, lingering sweetly in the warm air among the ferns.#Real Timey
