A Blocky Step Up

I set out from the soft carpet to see what else I could explore this morning. Right next to the big bookshelf, I spotted a bright plastic building brick sitting on the floorboards, looking just like a tiny cube from Minecraft! With both hands extended to steady myself, I carefully lifted my right foot and stepped directly onto its studded top. It gave a firm, satisfying snap beneath my shoe. Balancing on top of it felt like conquering a tall mountain peak, and I stood tall to survey the whole sunny corner of the room.
